I have always seen people using Maya, Max etc, rendering using VRAY.
Never thought anything of it until recently seeing some of the renders done using Cinema 4D and VRAY. I didn't even know you could get VRAY for C4D.
Anyway... WOW, all I can say is that there are no excuses not to buy Cinema 4D anymore. User Friendly interface and now VRAY. Seeing is believing. Now I can understand when Maya, Max users say 'VRAY is the best'.
The only down side I can see is the price of VRAY - 790 euros (approx. £551 taken 6 November 2007).*
* VRAY isn't included with the C4D installer.
I am simply amazed!!
