FFmpeg can stabilise a video utilising a two-pass method. The aim of my entry is to compile some references and commands that I have found beneficial, primarily for my future reference.
Just incase you have a folder full of video files and want to know if any of them are corrupt you can do so using ffmpeg and a bash script.

The problem I had using a Mac was for a long time there wasn't any easy way to create ogv videos... until now. Update there is now a FREE open-source app.
